JUST ANNOUNCED! SAIC-Frederick/NCI 330,000 sq ft research facility as a part of the NCI Advanced Technology Partnership Initiative on a 177-acre research technology campus setting. This will be the first building out of a total of 800,000 sq ft. NCI-F is NOT vacating its Fort Detrick facilities but plans to consolidate advanced technologies now spread out in 33 buildings. Located at the corner of Route 26 and Route 15 on the City’s north side, this future retail development site was recenlty approved for annexation into the City of Frederick. Frederick Brick Works
The Frederick Brick Works property is ~65 acres between South Street and I-70. Through the construction on the new I-70/East Street interchange, this land is located along a new gateway into Downtown Frederick. Frederick News Post – 200 E Patrick Street in Downtown
With the relocation of the FNP to a new facility on the City’s southeast side, the downtown location at 200 E Patrick Street is available for sale. Frederick Research Park
Located along Thomas Johnson Drive adjacent to the PNC Bank building are two building sites owned by COPT. Frederick Towne Mall
Mall owners are planning a major redevelopment of this anchor retail site along the Golden Mile. Boscov’s, Bon-Ton and Home Depot will remain, along with the pad sites of Carrabba’s and Ollie’s. The reminder will be demolished, with plans for new pedestrian-oriented retail development. Residential is also planned for the back portion of the site. Market Square

Northgate Center
Located along the west side of Route 15, just north of Hayward Road, is the future site of the Northgate Retail Center. Riverside Research Park (location of new NCI/SAIC-Frederick facility)
Located in the along Gas House Pike across from Clustered Spires Golf Course, Riverside Research Park will offer 1.8 million square feet of space in a secured research park environment. Developed by Matan, the park will be the first research campus in Frederick County. One 50,000 square foot facility has just been completed for Charles River Labs.
